With a career spanning over four decades, Mr. Weinrich focuses a large part of his practice on representing individuals in the areas of Social Security disability and workers’ compensation law. He additionally represents clients with other matters pertaining to personal injury, civil litigation, and business law.


Gerald Weinrich received his Doctor of Jurisprudence at the Hamline University School of Law in 1982. Among his numerous distinctions while working on his law degree was placement on the Dean’s List each year from 1979-1982. Mr. Weinrich earned American Jurisprudence awards in Criminal Law and Contracts, as well as the Sigma Nu Phi Award and membership to the Silver Gavel Honor Society. He also served as Managing Editor for the Hamline Law Review from 1981 until 1982. His undergraduate work also reflects academic distinction. Earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 1979, Mr. Weinrich graduated Cum Laude with distinction and was named to the Dean’s List from 1975-1979.

Legal Work

Gerald Weinrich began his legal career as District Court Law Clerk for the Honorable William J. Nierengarten, Judge of the District Court in Austin, MN. He then joined the law firm of Hoversten, Strom, Johnson & Rysavy as an Associate Attorney, where he practiced in the areas of collections, commercial litigation, real estate, probate, personal injury, insurance defense, and criminal defense law. Afterward, he joined Klampe & Nordstrom as an Associate Attorney, where he practiced Social Security, workers’ compensation, personal injury, and commercial litigation law.

Mr. Weinrich founded his own law office in Rochester, MN in 1991. Since that time, he has represented a range of clients including A&A Electric, Air Quality Solutions, Animal Friends Inc., and Red Wing Aeroplane Co.

Professional Affiliations and Civic Activities

Gerald Weinrich is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, Olmsted County Bar Association, the Minnesota Association for Justice, and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives. Mr. Weinrich formerly served as Board President of Legal Assistance of Olmsted County and is a past member of the Mower County Bar Association.
